Vhembe TVET College is inviting applications for four General Worker positions at its Makhado Satellite and Shingwedzi campuses in Limpopo.

The vacancies are advertised under DPSA Circular 39 of 2026.

Job Details

• Position: General Worker (4 Posts)
• Reference Number: VTVET 22/2026
• Location: Makhado Satellite and Shingwedzi Campus, Limpopo
• Salary: R144,024–R169,656 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits
• Qualification: ABET Level 4 or Grade 10
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Closing Date: 16 November 2026

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have an ABET Level 4 qualification or Grade 10 and be able to read and write.

A cleaning training certificate and six months of cleaning experience will be advantageous but are not compulsory.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain college lawns and gardens.
• Cut grass and trim trees and hedges.
• Clean pathways and outdoor areas.
• Collect litter and dispose of waste.
• Assist with gardening and maintenance work.
• Maintain cleaning and gardening equipment.
• Support general campus maintenance.
