Purpose of the Role

The Bank Better Champion is responsible for welcoming clients and coordinating branch flow through effective queue management. The role focuses on delivering excellent client service by assisting customers at ATMs and guiding them through transactions on self-service and remote banking channels.

This position provides valuable exposure to the banking environment and helps successful candidates gain the knowledge, skills, and experience required for future growth into service consulting roles within Capitec Bank.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist clients entering the branch
Manage and coordinate queue flow efficiently
Assist clients with ATM usage and self-service banking
Support clients with transactions on remote banking channels
Deliver a friendly, professional, and helpful client experience
Learn and apply service consulting principles

Experience Requirements

Minimum:

No previous work experience required
Must hold a Grade 12 National Certificate

Ideal:

Some client service experience in a retail, banking, or financial environment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Knowledge Requirements

Minimum:

Basic calculation skills
Ability to engage confidently with people
Clear understanding of personal goals, ambition, and willingness to learn

Ideal:

Knowledge of a bank branch environment
Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and internal business processes (advantage)
